The degree of yellowish hue in a diamond is measured by color grading. The most sought-after stones are translucent and dazzling, with very little color. From D to Z, the color scale is used, with D representing the highest or whitest grading.

Your chosen diamonds will begin to exhibit a yellow or brown hue as you proceed down the scale toward Z. Selecting a diamond grade no lower than H is always the best option if you want to buy a high-quality diamond. Remember that while the differences between diamonds of the D and G colors are hardly noticeable, a G-colored diamond might be 20% to 40% less expensive. You can be more adaptable and choose a lesser color grade, like J, if you have chosen a yellow or rose gold setting. Colors like rose and yellow can help cover up the tint of your stone.

This grade quantifies the quantity of flaws present in a diamond. We advise you to get a "eye clean" diamond, which is defined as one that is VS2 or greater. The defects of your chosen diamond will be invisible to the unaided eye and would need to be viewed with a magnifying glass.

The cut grade of a diamond is a measure of how much it sparkles and is sometimes mistaken with shape. A good diamond's cut uniformly distributes its facets to reflect the most light possible, giving diamond jewelry its captivating polish and one-of-a-kind appearance.

Fair: Despite its poor light-reflecting capabilities, this cut will nevertheless provide a significant amount of sparkle and be reasonably bright.

Good: A diamond with a good cut that will reflect enough light to create a stunning, glittering display. The diamond may have some darker patches that are noticeable, but they don't take away from its brilliance.

Exceptionally Good: This kind of cut is far less expensive than an exceptional cut and is of nearly better quality, holding almost as much brilliance.

Excellent: A cut that is excellent exhibits significantly better light performance, which is mostly determined by its depth and strong length to breadth proportion. Together with being incredibly bright, this cut guarantees a striking and glittering presentation.

One of the primary determinants of a diamond's price is its carat weight. Making the choice of a 0.90ct diamond can result in a 10–20% better value than a 1ct diamond of the same quality and can appear almost identical in size.

To obtain something just as lovely, you don't have to choose the best quality. Even though color G is 20–40% more affordable than color D, it still appears white to the naked eye. Usually, there aren't any obvious flaws in VS2 diamonds and are more affordable than VVS2 and higher. There is not much of a distinction between very good and excellent cuts that are visible to the unaided eye. When compared to round brilliants, fancy-shaped diamonds are also more affordable.
