Diamond Size: 0.28
A carat is the international unit used to measure the weight of a diamond or Colorstone. One carat is equal to 200 milligrams, or 0.2 grams. This means a 5ct diamond will weigh 1 gram.
The diamond you have chosen weighs 0.30 carats and measures around 4.26x4.32x2.70mm. Remember, these measurements are only an estimation, as every diamond has unique attributes.
Colour: K
K coloured diamonds certificated by IGI are slightly tinted diamonds, which will hold a very slight taint of yellow or brown even if set in jewellery. IGI K coloured diamonds are recommended for customers who prefer the warmer colours or who would like to maximize the size of their diamond. Please note that in some cases, an IGI K colour might be comparable to a GIA L colour.
Clarity: SI2
VS1 graded diamonds certificated by IGI will generally have one small or a few very tiny inclusions. The inclusions are not visible to the unaided eye (eye clean) and can only be located, sometimes with difficulty, using a 10x magnification loupe. VS1 clarity diamonds offer an excellent choice as they do not have the same premium as the IF and VVS categories and are very popular.
Cut: Good
Good cut diamonds are cut to reflect most of a diamond's brightness, fire and scintillation.The non-expert eye is unlikely to see a major difference between an Excellent cut and a Good cut diamond, as they will both sparkle brightly. However, a Good cut diamond will not reflect as much light as the Excellent cut diamond, and therefore typically does not command the same premium. The choice of cut must be balanced with other factors such as carat weight, colour and clarity.
